Every person and family has their own experience of serious illness, caregiving and end of life. Sometimes you need practical help. Sometimes you need someone to sit beside you. And sometimes you simply need a little guidance to figure out what comes next.
Contentus offers compassionate, practical support tailored to what you and your family need.
A place to start
Family Support Consultation
$120 / 2-hour session
Who this is for: Families who feel unsure where to begin or need help making sense of a complex situation.
Sometimes the hardest part is knowing where to begin.
This is an opportunity to sit down, talk through what is happening, and make sense of what you and your family may need. Together we can explore your concerns, identify priorities, look at available resources, and consider practical next steps.
You don’t need to have everything figured out before you reach out.
Individual & Family Support
$60 per hour
Who this is for: Individuals and families who need flexible, in-the-moment support — whether for a few hours or on an ongoing basis.

-
Giving family caregivers time to rest and recharge
-
Practical support and personal care at home
-
Helping family members understand what to expect as illness progresses
-
Talking through concerns and difficult decisions
-
Accompanying someone to an appointment or care-related activity
-
Connecting families with helpful community resources
You can arrange a single visit, a few hours of support during a particularly difficult time, or ongoing support as needs change.
A minimum visit length may apply to in-person support.
Ongoing support

Packages offer flexibility at a lower cost:
-
5 hours — $275 ($55 per hour — save $25)
-
10 hours — $500 ($50 per hour — save $100)

Planning ahead
Advance Care Planning
From $175
Who this is for: Anyone who wants to clarify their wishes and help the people who matter to them understand what is important.
Planning ahead isn’t about expecting the worst. It’s about making sure the people who matter to you understand what is important to you, should a time come when you cannot speak for yourself.
This support helps you explore your wishes, values and priorities, and identify the conversations that may be helpful to have with family and those involved in your care.
Contentus provides guidance around these conversations. Legal documents and medical advice are outside the scope of this service.
